- FEATURING: Oliver 1365 FWA. In late-1971, Oliver introduced their “New for 1972” family. The 1255 was replaced by the 1265 and the 1355 replaced by the 1365. The 1365 was a 55-horsepower model available as a Row Crop, Utility, or four-wheel-drive. Feature tractor owner: Larry Elliott - Bellville, OH.
- Cletrac Facts: Adventures of Ray B. Davi, aka: Tractor Folly Pt 3. Early oils available in the 1930s when diesel engines were in their infancy were often times inferior when used for prolonged periods of time. H.F. Davis Tractor Company was an early user of MacMillan RING-FREE Motor Oil, one of the earliest oils that held up in diesel engines.
- Hart-Parr 30-60: Built through 1916, the 30-60 took on the name “Old Reliable” after production ended.
- Oliver Experimental Engineering: Back to the Drawing Board. Experimental notes from 1958 indicate a Super 99 GM tractor with a powershift transmission had been transferred to Charles City for lab and field-testing.
- Another Oliver User: Shawn Hunz. “In 1967, Dad bought our first Oliver, a used Super 88 diesel, and our family has been into Oliver ever since."
- Oliver Grain Dryers: In 1959, Oliver offered a grain dyer that was available in two sizes. Just as quickly as it appeared in the Oliver lineup, it disappeared.
- Collector Corner: Ron Becker's Tractor World.
- Ask the Oliver Mechanic: Question and answer with Larry Harsin.
