- Featuring: White 195 Workhorse. White first introduced the Boss name to the industry in 1973. The White family included the Field Boss, Harvest Boss, Yard Boss, Plant Boss, etc. The Boss name was used for over a decade until there was a new “boss” in town. Move over, Boss, here comes the Hoss… Workhorse, that is. Feature tractor owners: Phil and Travis Most - Prescott, WI.
- Excel Cabs: Numerous cab manufacturers emerged across the United States in the 1950s, each claiming their products were superior for farmers. Among them was Excel Industries, based in Hesston, Kansas.
- Potentate: Ruler Among 4WDs. Factory built four-wheel-drive tractors were available in 1967 but still somewhat out of reach for most farmers. They were typically priced much higher than even the largest two-wheel-drive tractors of the time. Good friends, Dale Hawbaker from Portal, North Dakota, and Francis Busch from nearby Lignite, North Dakota, decided they could work together to build two tractors: one for each of them.
- Lindstrom Farms: Kevin Lindstrom's Factory Wet Bolster 1066. “Tractor Pull.” Those two words can conjure up many images in a person’s mind. Images that range from the Wisconsin Dairyland Super Nationals in Tomah, WI, to a local small-town festival’s out-of-the-field farm stock pull. At either one, or at almost any in between, chances are you are going to see an International Harvester 1066.
