- FEATURING; John Deere 8850. In the fall of 1981, Deere announced their three new 50 series 4WD tractors for the 1982 model year, lead by the flagship 8850. Feature tractor owner: Ebbersten - Elkhart, IL
- Gleaner Model E Combine: The right machine at the right time. With a 27-inch cylinder and a 32-inch separator, the Model E was sized between the Models A and T.
- Oliver's Over/Under Hydraul-Shift. As with most things that came to be after 1960, "power" was the key word. This time, power didn't necessarily apply to the engine, though.
- International Harvester 86 Series Tractors: In North America, the IH 86 series Pro-Ag line of tractors were built from 1977 to 1981. IH built two different versions, the original "Black Stripe" and the "Tri-Stripe."
- Machinery Milestones: The tractor scene from 30, 40, and 50 years ago.
- Mini Muscle: Gene Gregory's scratch-built and remote-controlled Cat Model D5N bulldozer.
